Mark Sandham and Carys Jenkins are the partners of North Wales Notaries. Based at the offices of Bone & Payne LLP they offer notarial services throughout North Wales.

Their notarial practice is authorised and regulated by the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Although they are both practising Solicitors, their notarial work is entirely separate from their work at Bone & Payne LLP.

Mark Sandham

Having grown up in Abergele and lived in North Wales all his life, Mark completed the Diploma in Notarial Practice at the University of Cambridge in 2007 and was admitted as a Notary Public in 2008.

Having practised as a Notary for over a decade, Mark has extensive experience in dealing with documents for use all over the world. He has assisted many people looking to buy or sell property in Spain and France and has developed good relationships with lawyers and agents working abroad. He has regularly assisted corporate clients who have business dealings in mainland Europe, Eastern Europe and Asia.

Mark has also been a partner at Bone & Payne LLP since 2013 where he specialises in non-contentious work including the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney, Probate and the administration of estates.

Mark is a member of The Notaries Society.

As a fluent Welsh speaker, Mark is able to provide bilingual advice and assistance.

Away from work Mark enjoys walking, gardening, attending concerts and the theatre.

Carys Jenkins

Carys grew up in Llandudno and qualified as a Notary Public in 2021 having completed the Diploma in Notarial Practice at University College London.

She is a member of the Notaries Society.

Carys qualified as a Solicitor with Bone & Payne LLP in 2017 and is based at their Llandudno office. She is a full member of the prestigious Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and specialises in Wills, tax planning, the creation and administration of trusts, probate and the administration of estates.

In her spare time, Carys enjoys travelling and walking her dogs in the Snowdonia mountains.
